Strategy and investment focus

• ESG policies, procedures and due diligence for private equity – instituting procedures, documentation and analyses to meet PRI and other specific commitments to LPs
• Development of ESG and carbon screened funds – researching and fundraising for new funds to invest in listed companies based on carbon or ESG performance
• Sustainability valuation models for resort, insurance, beverage, mining and advertising companies - using proprietary methodology to assess the value of specific initiatives and overall strategies
• Sustainability strategy reviews for national health insurer, ‘four pillar’ bank, outdoor advertising, investment bank and logistics companies – reviews of current and potential sustainability approaches, relative to peers and to align with business priorities
• Carbon strategy reviews for national property, banking, and agricultural companies - identifying and testing overall strategies and developing business cases for specific initiatives
• Biofuels strategy and implementation – developing business cases, implementation through to successful launch Renewable energy and clean tech investment evaluations – business case analysis in emerging solar, bioenergy and water treatment businesses
• Avoided deforestation (REDD) project development in PNG – large scale, multi-stakeholder projects designed to deliver strong social, environmental and economic returns

• Articulation of CSIRO's Australian Integrated Carbon Assessment Service (AICAS) for internal and government funding purposes
• Communication strategy for federal DEWHA Solar Cities program – setting messages and approaches for each stakeholder, a clear rationale and framework for overall communication, and an implementation budget and schedule
• NSW Bioenergy Handbook – co-authored handbook with Sustainable Energy Development Authority
• Drafting report The Business Case for Early Action for the Business Roundtable on Climate Change – working with six companies to deliver the business case for clear policy on climate change
• Award-winning sustainability report for nation’s largest resort operator – comprehensive report on client action and impact on environmental and social issues in sensitive world heritage areas
• Drafted 200 page federal department internal manual for implementation of EPBC Act
  Communication strategies to support significant changes for international banks and airlines, for agricultural, resource, beverage companies, and for educational institutions
• Review and rewrite of Sustainability Advantage program materials for NSW Dept of Environment and Climate Change
• Strategic review of parent-teacher-school communication for NSW Public Schools
